    Tuts Washington died of a heart attack while performing at the New Orleans World’s Fair on August 5, 1984 at the age of 77. Tuts Washington was a Louisiana blues pianist, who played New Orleans rhythm & blues, ragtime, jazz, blues, and boogie-woogie.
